Creating Files (Quebec only) |

Note: The Create File function is only available for files processed in the Quebec province. You can create your own files on Assyst Real Estate to import deeds with bookmarks from TELUS, with the help of the Toolbar that is available on the Inforoute Notariale. You can then register online these deeds by sending them to the Land register via Assyst Real Estate. The files that you create yourself are added to your list of files under the Other Files category. ➢To create a file 1.Click the Create File button in the Assyst Real Estate toolbar. This will display the Create File window. 2.Enter the name of the natural or legal person (Appearer) to which the file will be associated. 3.For legal assistants only: select in the Legal Counsel Responsible for the file list the name of the lawyer/notary you work for and who is responsible for the file. Note: The Legal Counsel Responsible for the file field is only displayed for legal assistants. 4.Click the Create button. 5.The file is added to the list of your files in the Other Files section. 6.Import the Word documents that will be included in the file by using the Import a Word Document function. These imported documents have to be templates with bookmarks from TELUS, available on the Inforoute Notariale. Your documents are added to the list of documents in the Documents tab. 7.You can then register the documents you have imported using the standard Register function available in the Documents tab. Refer to the Registering Documents Online section for more details. You can add notes to your files using the Add a Note function. Refer to the Adding Notes section for more details. Close the file when all documents have been registered by checking the File Closed box in the Status section of the File tab. Note: Do not accumulate too many documents in one single file, make separate files. |
