Property identification

The window New Discharge - Property identification  is displayed at the second step of the process after you have selected the Lender. This window contains legal description or a list of legal descriptions that you can select using checkboxes. You must ensure the information is valid and modify the data if required, in sections Property(ies) and Legal description under the File information tab. This information will be used when generating documents related to Discharge Solution. You can also add a new Property Identification (PID/PIN, and LINC) to the list using the button Add a pid to the list in the New discharge - Property identification window.

  Make sure you have entered the property's address in the section Property(ies) in the File information main page.

Select or add a Legal description

The Property identification window is displayed at the second step of the process after the selection of the Lender.

1.Select, using the checkbox, the legal description displayed in the Legal description field; or

2.Click the button Add a pid to the list to add a new legal description to the list of legal descriptions. (Refer to Add an additional pid )

3.Click the Next button. The step 2 - Property identification has been completed and a new window called Mortgage details will be displayed allowing you to complete the next step. (Refer to Mortgage details section)

Click the Previous button to return to the previous window.

Click the Cancel button to cancel the Discharge request at this step.
